When using the App, we may collect:

• Name or nickname
• Email address (if registration or feedback is involved)
• Dietary preferences or fitness goals (if entered manually)
• Photos of food taken by you using your device’s camera

We do not process sensitive personal information such as health diagnoses or biometric data.

Why we access the camera:

The App uses your device’s camera strictly for the purpose of capturing photos of food items. These images are analyzed by AI to estimate nutritional values and caloric content.

How we handle photo data:

• Photos are processed either locally on your device or securely transmitted to our servers for analysis.
• We do not store photos permanently unless explicitly saved by the user.
• We do not use your photos for training AI models without your explicit consent.
• Access to the camera is requested only with your permission, and you can revoke it at any time in your device settings.

We do not access your device’s photo gallery unless you explicitly choose to upload an image from it.

Depending on your region, we rely on:

• Your consent
• Our legitimate interest
• Compliance with legal obligations

You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Data is retained only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Photo data is deleted once analysis is complete, unless saved by the user.

We do not knowingly collect data from users under 18. If discovered, such data will be deleted.

We use secure methods to protect your data. However, no method is 100% secure.

Our app uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework to request user permission for tracking activities. With the user's consent, we may collect and use identifiers such as the Device ID and usage data for advertising, analytics, and marketing purposes. This data may be shared with third-party partners, including TikTok for Business and AppsFlyer, to help deliver personalized ads, measure campaign performance, and improve our services. Users can manage or revoke their tracking preferences at any time through their device settings.

We use a third-party analytics and attribution service called Appsflyer to help us understand how users discover and interact with our app. This helps us improve user experience and measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.

Appsflyer may collect and process certain information from your device, including:
• Device identifiers (such as IDFA or GAID)
• IP address
• App usage data and in-app events
• Device type, operating system, and language settings
• Location data (coarse)

This information may be shared with Appsflyer and its advertising partners in order to provide aggregated analytics, improve advertising performance, and perform retargeting campaigns.

If you are using an iOS device, you can opt out of tracking by adjusting your privacy preferences in your device settings:

Unbloat processes facial photos uploaded by the user solely to analyze visible puffiness, jawline definition, and facial symmetry.
No biometric identifiers, facial recognition, or identity verification technologies are used.
The analysis is fully automated and produces numeric and textual results that cannot identify a person.
Face data is used only to generate wellness insights and display progress within the app.
Unbloat does not use, sell, or share these images for advertising, analytics, or machine learning purposes.

All uploaded facial photos are stored securely on encrypted cloud servers (for example, Firebase Storage) located in data centers compliant with international privacy standards (GDPR and ISO/IEC 27001).
Face photos are retained for 10 days after upload to allow users to view their analysis history and compare results.
After this period, both the images and associated metadata are automatically and permanently deleted.
Users cannot manually delete photos before the 10-day retention period, but the deletion process is fully automated and irreversible.

Unbloat does not share, sell, rent, or disclose any facial photos or analysis data to third parties.
No external partners, advertisers, or data processors have access to this information.
All processing and temporary storage take place within Unbloat’s own secure infrastructure.
The data is never transferred outside the application’s controlled environment and is not used for any purpose other than providing the app’s debloating and wellness analysis features.

We may update this notice and will notify you in-app if changes are significant.
